【BRESG 学术讲座(第20期)】
题目:An Eco-Evo-Devo analysis of white bars in anemonefish
主讲人:Vincent Laudet 教授
时间:2025年10月28日
地点:种质库一楼学术报告厅
主讲人简介:
Vincent Laudet has performed the first evolutionary analysis of the nuclear hormone receptor (NR) superfamily focusing on: (i) the study of retinoids and thyroid hormone receptors in the evolutionary process through Evo/Devo studies using amphioxus as a model organism; (ii) the study of the evolution of ligand-binding abilities of various NRs and the origin of NR ligands; (iii) the effects of environmental pollutants such as bisphenol A or chlorpyrifos acting via nuclear receptors. Since 2014 he developed coral reef fish as a marine model organism for Eco/Evo/Devo studies. His group focuses on the evolution of life history strategies, in particular the recruitment of fish larvae to the reef and the role that hormones played in that process. Vincent Laudet was successively Professor at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon in France from 1997 to 2015 where he was the director of the Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle de Lyon (lGFL) and then Director of the Observatoire Océanologique de Banyuls-sur-Mer.
